CONFIRMED PREGNANT
This doe was given to me by a good friend for 2 reasons – she was sired by a buck I own and because she was a complete turd with her children and she didn’t feel like she should keep her as she couldn’t be trusted. I don’t have small children, but Reba still likes to try her luck sometimes. But with a routine, she is doing OK here. She likely will not stay forever but I am really hoping to keep a linebred daughter of hers in 2026. Also to note, her lactation above is not super impressive at first look – but keep in mind she kidded very late in the season compared to most of my other does and she was only in milk for 230 days. Because of this short lactation, her total lbs look lackluster. I’ve definitely had younger FF produce more, however – but her lines are known for massively increased production in future lactations. Her udder is really, really, really gorgeous. High, wide, globular, and a long FIRMLY attached foreudder. Her posed pictures aren’t very flattering, but she is long and level and coupled with appropriate depth for her age. I think she will benefit of another freshening or two.
